Hard to tell what the more lasting impression from the debate tonight was. Jim Lehrer being totally and completely overwhelmed from the word go or Mitt Romney’s super creepy “waiting to talk face.” 2 MINUTES! 2 MINUTES!
That was the most 1 sided debate ive watched since reagan/mondale....even chris matthews was freaking out and asking" what is obama doing? He is getting destroyed out there...." ....or something to that effect
So funny as an Indy watching Facebook explode like either guy did anything other than be adequate. Guess it's the same here.I swear, either guy could come out, take a dump and rub his face in it and if the person watching has a hard on for that dudes party they'll tell you "OH IN YOUR FACE MAN!!! YOUR DUDE GOT WORKED!!!"I'm like prez, only thing that taught me is Jim Leher is a bitch. Need a real moderator next time, like Iron Sheik
Wow. What a beat down. Show me a person who watched the debate and has taken inventory over the past four years who still supports Obama, and I'll show you a layabout, a public union hack, a racist, an ignorant asshole and or a hooked nosed smut peddling squid (I'm looking at you el pres).
If you say so man. I saw two guys stumble over each other all night and restate what they've said for the last 12 months. At the moment I'm leaning mitt but I didn't think either of them stood out. They both stuck to their party line. yaaaaaa.
Blackdude, your boy got worked tonight bro. Mittens showed up. I reckon he will destroy Barry again when they start the Iran/Israel debate. Better get at ur boy BD, hollywood will only get him so far. Christosterone, im embarrassed to say that i remember watching those debates as a kid with my pops. Haha. Fuck man, Prez should be inviting us old folk to his fkin foam chumpies. You think hed be lookin out for his generation.
Presmoobs, im a Ron Paul fan, butthead. I have no clue who im voting for. I care about my business surviving the next 20 years and thats it at this point. That said, Barry got worked tonight by Mittens.
@christosterone - which Reagan/Mondale debate are you talking about? You know that Mondale was universally acknowledged to have won the first debate I'm sure
Obama lost the debate. No doubt. No style points, either. But... Holy shit! ALL Romney did was lie! -$5T tax cuts -Pre existing conditions covered -Medicare $700B cuts -Massive tax cuts for millionaires -Dodd Frank blank checks? And on and on. Seriously. This was rope-a-dope. And even though the Niners went to Romeny, his likables are stable (50% unfav). Plus CNN "undecideds" wet 8 for Romney, and wait for it.... 8 to Obama. So Romney didn't really win, did he? Fuck, I can't wait for the attack ads on the Ryan budget tied around Romney's neck. He'll have to tell even more lies.
Barry was exposed as the fraud he is, empty suit. Not so easy when you have a record to defendThere was no lying, just political spin. Romney has had hundred of millions of ads aimed at him that has distorted his record, so it was his chance to to set it straightComplete ass kicking of a pussy
@hanknyny you described the debate very accurately, dude lied like the dickhead he is yet he's getting the attention because he was Johnny Last Word and was aggressive. Came off as a spoiled brat who can say whatever he wants and it's fact. Bullshit. Flip Flopney is desperate and acted accordingly, President Obams is going to be swinging next debate and will put the elitist flip flopper in his place.
Romney is selling dreams. Has been running on a message of cutting taxes and not adding to the deficit which is frankly impossible with the increases to military spending and revenue drain that will come from his tax cuts. It is simply not feasible and anyone who buys it might be retarded.
romney most certainly lied his fuckin dick off tonight, which is ballsy and retarded in case the opposition calls you out...which he didn't, so it's a little hard to say who won based on romney being a bullshit artist for 1.5 hours, and obama being a vaginal crevice for the same amount of time...and jim lehrer was absolutely the worst mediator in the history of debates, even when he DID get a few words out, they were brutally phrased questions. kinda how i would picture neil sitting in on a barstool meeting.
Mitt exposed Barry as the guy that got a job that really doesn't deserve it. Michelle should start stealing the White House silverware to prepare for their eventual fall from grace and going back to the projects in Chicago.
@jbd - So democrats are racist? As opposed to Republicans?? haha cmon dude. For anyone who thinks romney can cover $5 trillion by closing loop holes and deductions, I have some snake oil to sell you
@RC Cola, It's called ECONOMIC Growth. Can someone please take a basic econ class? If you get double the growth and lower the tax rate you will actually get MORE TAXES collected because you have more people contributing.See Reagan 80-87
Ha ha- love how you fail to grasp the long term damage caused by Reagan economics. But yea, guess I shouldn't have skipped that econ class I took last semester for my MBA.
Class warfare, Blame Bush, It was a bigger mess than I thought, I'm not a perfect president, my grandma defense and toss in some racism.... Your weapon is empty and like all left wing nuts you wither when faced with facts.

It's easier to jusy type "long term damage caused by Reagan economics" than it is to actually type what that damage is because you have no fucking clue what you are talking about. What is the damage?? President Reagan. When he took office in January 1981, inflation was double digits and out of control. Interest rates were around 20%. Unemployment was 7.5%. We had recently experienced gas lines, and oil and gas prices were high. In terms of percentage of GDP, the federal government spent roughly the same in 1980 as it spent in 2008.Barack Hussian Obama: When he took office inflation was virtually non-existent, and interest rates were at historic lows. Unemployment was 7.8%. Oil and gas prices were low, and supplies were plentiful. Because of TARP, the federal government under President Bush was spending around 21% of GDP, just as in Fiscal 1981. Overall, the economy was bad, but not nearly as bad as in January 1981.The decisions Reagan made vs. the decisions Obama made:Reagan: What did Reagan do? He deregulated oil. He cut marginal tax rates, although the Democrats who controlled Congress prevented tax cuts from taking effect until October 1982. He lowered the burden of government regulations. He persuaded then Fed Chairman Paul Volker to adopt a tight money policy to restore the dollar and reverse the inflation that was destroying our economy.President Reagan intended all these steps to boost savings and investment, which in turn would spur greater productivity, job creation, and economic growth. Thus, the description “supply side economics.” He knew that economic growth, along with a sound monetary policy, would return the United States economy to full employment without significant inflation. And that’s exactly what happened. Domestic oil and gas production increased relative to demand, supplies became plentiful again, and prices came down. The gas lines were gone, never to return. The new monetary policy did lead to a short but severe recession, which was expected. Unemployment rose to a peak of 10.8% in December 1982, just three months after the tax rate cuts took effect. But inflation and interests rates came down to normal levels. The days of double-digit inflation and interest rates came to an end.Once the tax cuts fully kicked in, we experienced explosive job creation and economic growth. This ended the recession. We achieved GDP growth rates of 4.5% in 1983 and 7.2% in 1984. By November 1984, unemployment had fallen to 7.2% — still high by historical standards, but dropping fast (it was 5.3% by the end of Reagan’s second term). It was morning in America again. It surprised no one that Reagan very nearly achieved a 50 state sweep in 1984. Obama: So, what did President Obama do? Just about the exact opposite of everything President Reagan did. He greatly expanded the power and scope of government regulation over the entire economy, including the oil and gas industry. Indeed, he seized upon a single industrial accident to impose an offshore drilling moratorium on the entire oil and gas industry. He enacted Obamacare, which among many other flaws is a job destroyer. Instead of lowering marginal tax rates to encourage more saving and private investment, President Obama fought to increase tax rates. He still vows to do so if re-elected. And unlike President Reagan, President Obama and the Fed adopted a weak dollar policy, a standard Keynesian prescription to fight unemployment by using inflation to encourage consumer spending while discouraging private saving and investment. Carter tried the same policy in 1979-80. It did not end well. And the results? Look around you. Unemployment has been around 9% or higher since March 2009. In 2009, GDP declined by 2.6%; in 2010, it increased by only 2.9%. In the first quarter of 2011, GDP increased only 1.8%. These levels, of course, are nowhere near the strong GDP growth that Reagan achieved in 1983 and 1984. Oil prices have more than doubled. This is due partly to “green” tape that has impeded domestic oil production, partly to weak dollar policies. Those same weak dollar policies have resulted in rising inflation, especially gas and food prices. Most telling of all, President Obama will likely be the first U.S. President to preside over a net job loss in his first term.
Cory - come on read 6 paragraphs. Those 6 paragraphs will make you wonder WTF the liberal main stream media is talking about. . Bill Clinton called Barack Hussain Obama "The Amateur". I'm no Clinton fan but was he ever accurate here. Obama is a cult of personality. He is responsible for the condition of the US economy today. He alone. If you ever worked at a job for 4 years and as a direct result the situation you were hired to fix got worse ... you should be fired.
Not a huge fan of either but Mittens smoked BHO quite thoroughly. Almost a full blown beatdown. I'll hold my nose and vote for MR 'cause Barry had zero business beign elected in the first place. He was the beneficiary of liberal reactionism at it's finest. I still hear people even this morning proclaiming their love of O'Bama. The fuck? I think it's time for a Mormon President, don't you?
Mitt came off as a smug douche bag and Obama was catering his debate to get the support of "his people". I honestly think that Ron Paul won the debate because while Obama was declaring what he would do, Mitt was more or less making fun of those ideas whithout stating any new plans of his own. Paul '12.
