Congrats to Paul Pierce

Obviously got to give a shout out to Paul Pierce for passing Larry as the Celtics #2 all time scorer. I still don’t think Pierce gets the love he deserves around here. I just feel like when people think of Boston’s most beloved athletes he is never on the A list. Always tagging just slightly behind. Like not quite on the Brady, Pedroia level even though he should be. The guy has been a warrior. He’s been here through the good and the bad. He’s won a title. He’s part of the Lakers vs. Celtics lure. He will go down as one of the all time greats. So that begs the question of where does he fit in the current popularity rankings with Boston athletes. This would be my current top 7. I couldn’t even finish the top 10 because I don’t think anybody else is on the level of these 7 guys. Maybe Charra, Thomas, Seguin to round it out? Anyway I’m curios what the Stoolies think. Put your top 10 in the comments section

Wicked Mr Pickett - You have no idea what you are talking about if you really think that. Just because Pierce can't jump as high and dunk as hard as LeBron doesn't mean he was never in the top 10. 05-06 - 26.8 points on 47% shooting, 6.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.4 steals. Easily a top 5 player that year. I could go on and on, but basically any early decade season of his was unreal. And then when the big 3 got here and he just became the glue guy that just does whatever the team needs on any given night and still puts up impressive numbers. Most under rated player of the last decade just cause he doesnt make sportscenter top 10 every night for idiots like you to bust a nut over.

Forget why Pierce isn't recognized as a top or "beloved" athlete in the city of Boston, I mean he should be and maybe he is, but regardless - how the FUCK is never talked about in the upper echelon of NBA players for the last 15 years??? Guy is fucking money, shit all over Kobe winning his first championship, he's a total fucking package - 6'7 and can take it to the rim, dunk in your face, dish it like a guard, drain 3's in your grill, fadeaways, baselines, finesse, size, power ALL of it.
