Daily MailA baby was dropped from the tenth floor of a blazing tower block and was caught by a man who ran forward from crowds underneath to grab it into his arms.

The miracle rescue occurred as Grenfell Tower was engulfed by flames in a fire thought to have been caused by a fridge exploding which has claimed the lives of at least six people.

Samira Lamrani said she saw a woman try to save a baby by dropping it from a window ‘on the ninth or 10th floor’ to waiting members of the public below.

Terrible story coming out of London this morning. A 24-story building went up in flames after a faulty fridge sparked a fire. At least 6 are dead and dozens more are feared dead. Reportedly no one on the top 3 floors survived. Reports also coming in that no alarms went off, no sprinklers worked, and the building had been ignoring fire hazard warnings for a long time.

However, among all this horror, we have ourselves a superhero. We have ourselves one of the single most clutch performances I’ve ever heard of in my entire life. We have a guy who saw a baby tossed from the 10th floor, ran forward, and caught that baby to save his/her life. How amazing is that? Unbelievably clutch. Most people I know can’t run and catch a softball with the 2nd inning on the line. Can’t catch a water bottle lobbed to them at their desk. KFC couldn’t catch the bubonic plague if he lived in a European sewer in the late 1340s.

But this guy runs forward and catches a baby? A human baby!? Hurled down from the TENTH floor? If you dig deep and activate that middle school acceleration knowledge, you’ll realize that this baby was CRUISING by the time he/she reached this guy. Honestly might be the greatest catch in human history.

What a hero. Praying for everyone in London, a city to which I will always have a spiritual connection.
