Prez, took a shot and stole the glass from McMurphy’s in Amherst last weekend. These were my findings. Is this necessary? Legal? These bars rake in money all week long and still rip off broke college kids?

I got a kick out of this video. Just the whole idea of it. Drunk kid thinks he’s getting jipped on his shots so he puts a shot glass in his pocket and goes home and measures it later that night.  Probably did more work in these 10 minutes than he did in his entire 4 years at Umass. But hey, his findings confirmed his hypothesis. He’s not some looney scientist. He got in the lab and did his experiments and it turns out he may be onto something. And yes I did some quick research on this blog to even figure out what he was talking about.  It does appear the standard shot glass is supposed to be 1.5 ounces.  1/2 a table spoon equals 1/2 an ounce.  Hence this is why he thinks he’s getting screwed.  Seems to make sense to me.
