Boston.com – The state’s highest court says “upskirting,” the practice of secretly photographing under a woman’s skirt, is not prohibited by state law. The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court said today that the state law intended to prohibit “Peeping Tom” voyeurism of completely or partially undressed people did not apply to people who take pictures of people who are fully clothed. The ruling came in the case of a man who was charged with taking a photo under the dress of an undercover MBTA Transit Police officer on a trolley between the Park Street and Government Center stations.
Finally some good news! No seriously though if you were looking for evidence that the world is totally fucked in the head search no more. I blogged about this story last year and now the Mass Supreme Court has said it’s legal for perverts to take pictures of chicks pussies and shit. To quote Don King…Only in America! Listen I love upskirting as much as the next guy, but this is pretty insane right? I mean we have so many example of people getting arrested or in trouble for ridiculous stuff, but this creepo is allowed to take upskirt pictures on the subway with no problem. This is when the law becomes a total joke. It’s actually kind of scary. Like I know I always think “hey I live in America, common sense will always prevail.” Wrong. Common sense has nothing to do with the law. Hell I could be in prison for Babygate for all I know. It’s all about rules that were written 100 years ago and have nothing to do with anything. Might as well have robots be judges.
PS Maybe the feminsts should worry about shit like this? Just a thought.
