Did the Phillies sign Lee for less than Crawford and Werth got? If Theo is playing chess, what is Amaro playing?

I read it. Blah . Putting up the stats that those three did during the juiced ball era is beyond amazing.

Just take the top 3 for each team

Smoltz
Glavine
Maddux

Total of 973 wins 215CG 76SHO 19 top 5 CY with 7 CY Awards
3 first ballot HOFamer's

Halladay
Lee
Oswalt

Total of 421 wins 98CG 33SHO 12 top 5 CY with 3 CY Young awards.
Halladay is on his way to a HOF career but Lee and Oswalt ain't even close at this point in their careers.

I'd take the Braves rotation over the Phillies rotation every day and twice on Sunday

Ron that's solid work breaking down career stats of guys who are retired vs. guys who are in their prime.

Job well done.

And yeah that cricket video is gross.

Dumbass Redneck,

If you think that the trio in Phillies are even going to come close to the numbers the Braves guys put up you're insane

Braves >>>>> Phillies

Halladay is the only one on the level of the Braves big 3, with Lee potentially joining him with another great year or two.

The other two are not there and never will be, although both are better than the 4th Brave....Avery, Mercker, Millwood....whomever you want to put there.

Advantage Braves.

Maddux and Glavine both have over 300 wins and Smoltz would be close if he wasn't saving 155 games in a 4 yr span.

Pitchers and catchers Sunday.

J-Roll said yesterday that he wants to re-up in Philly next year but he knows it ain't happening if he doesn't produce this year.

Lookout.

....look out

Still need to protect Howard, and I'm starting to think a possible option might be flip-flopping him and Utley (who IIRC has better stats vs. LH than RH pitchers) and sticking whichever of Vic/Rollins doesn't lead off in the 5 spot.

Found out today they're good for any game, right behind home plate. First time heading to Citizen's Bank.

Championship.

Sucks that the Sox visit Tues-Thurs.
