Gotta get a little lucky or get homegrown arms in the pen. Paying someone now for what they used to do never works. Great setup guys are usually great for a short window. I know it blew up, but the Sox strategy of stockpiling a bunch of inexpensive maybes and hoping a couple pan out is the way to go.

Yeah b/c with Bard last year there was a lot of expectation that Paps was getting 5 outs every night. And the reason he sucked b/c he wasn't sure if he only had to get 3 outs. That's it.
