Yeah bank lady said it was the first she's ever done under 4. Locked it in last October and closed in December.

Glad to see all these new towers in the works in downtown/Back Bay...hopefully this will reduce commuting for a lot of people, easily the biggest obstacle to Boston growth.

Getting from one place to another is as fundamental as human activity gets. Clearly, our old public transit and 93/128/90 can barely contain every 9 to 5 worker. Maybe somebody who lives in Southie or JP or something might finally be able to pay for a Back Bay/downtown place, and can then walk to work instead of taking the bus.

3.750%....just went and looked at my docs.
I got the house in August at 4.25% and the mortgage broker came back a month or so later and said we can refinance for free at 3.750%.....saves around 100/month give or take.....closing, again, sometime end of december
