I have kept my aol because I'm a creature of habit and haven't really had a need to upgrade (although I did set up a Gmail to list on my resume so I wouldn't give people not hiring me the benefit of a good laugh). And yes I have the same email address from 1997.

Should be worth noting that AOL users can essentially make up their own domains where available.

That was when I was setting up some feeds for work, a couple newspaper sites didn't have the automatically generated feeds so I had to make my own. Had never really used it before other than following a few blogs on iGoogle.
But I just realized how much time it's going to save me every morning.

I have 604 subscriptions in my Google Reader.
I don't "read" 604 blogs each day. 95% of them are subject-line skimmed only.
Needless to say, I love Google Reader. There may be better RSS readers out there, but this is what I know & I'm comfy w/ it.
