Promos like that attract dirtbag patrons that jeopardize licenses. That's the exact opposite of who comes to Common Ground.

Have any of you ever even been to Common Ground? Step inside...you'll realize very quickly it's not a frat bar where people do test tube shots.

There's a place for liquor-driven bar promotions...but that's not my strength. I specialize in trivia and other thinking games.

So I'm not doing it for Common Ground. After not getting their owner on the phone, I went to the GM. He told me (as I suspected) that price was a concern. I told them $75 trial rate for 3 weeks. They wouldn't pay that.

Sick ownership. Commission me for a project, agree to $150, and then not even pay half that. Lucky for me, another bar wants it. I mean, what price do they think I'd do it for?

One person listed HERSELF as a reference. WTF?!?

One resume I saw had so many power words in it, it was almost unreadable. Dude, don't try so hard to sound intelligent. You look like a boob.

I'm trying to give these people some work and they keep shooting themselves in the foot. Sigh.
