On sale again. Best $106.99 you'll spend.

are all these box sets you guys have links to not available on-demand or netflix?

i have seasons 1-5 of Curb and a few of the seinfeld seasons and like Bud's sopranos DVDs they are still in plastic. I might as well just lit my money on fire, or bought some ALDO shoes instead.

Sure, they're available on netflix (not sure about on demand). But I like having the series set and it's worth it for a shade over a c-note.

I used to buy DVDs right away all the time. I hardly buy them anymore but when I do, I wait a few months after release. They're about a third the original price if you wait just a few months.

Good to see Cutty making an appearance on Always Sunny last night.

I jumped on the last amazon deal when it was $130, well worth it.

LOL

Corrections: Wire Creator Not Actually Optimistic At All
On Saturday, The Washington Post ran an item on a college class about HBO's The Wire. "There is nothing that makes me more optimistic about the future of the country," Wire creator David Simon reportedly said. Which is almost right.

Via Balloon Juice, the Post's correction:

You guys are ahead of the curve with everything cool in pop culture, what with 'The Wire' and quidditch.
