Great "Italian Beef" (get the "Al’s Combo Beef & Sausage", dipped, and with the Giardiniera)

Skip the over-rated deep-dish pizza, and definitely skip the highly-over-rated Chicago Style Dog.

The Museum of Science & Industry is excellent.

If you let me know the type of place you're looking for I can probably give some good specifics (steak house, gourmet, Italian etc...)

I used to like Frontera Grill a lot. Rick Bayless' place. Piece is a pretty cool place in Wicker Park that does all their own beers which are really good and has the best Pizza in Chicago IMO (none of that deep dish shit) and live band karaoke on Saturday. Gibsons as mentioned is a good steak house that all the celebs etc. go to. Italian - Spiaggia/Cafe Spiaggia are good picks (although on the pricer end).

Just staying 1 night, looking for a local steakhouse, should have been more specific. That Alien place looked interesting.

Most likely hang around at McDunna's during the day playing goldentee and watching games.

late night beer & burger at the billy goat tavern.

Went to a Billy Goat tavern that closes at 4pm. I think its #3 or something. Wells/Van Bueren. Weird.

Didnt end up with any great dinners, got in late Friday and just ate at the Palm, was close to the hotel.

Saturday went to the aforementioned Billy Goat. Tilted Kilt in the evening for the UFC fights, sort of like Hooters but in kilts.

Game Sunday for the 1st halfish, then Jimmy Greens, which seems to be a mobbed up bar. Good place, everyone seemed to be a bookie, or had lots of action on the games.

Late Sunday, went to Timothy O'Tooles, they were flying a Pats flag outside and was obviously packed with Boston people, good times.

(Unfortunately) Monday, recovery with a late check out and flight home.

hahahaha the Tilted Kilt is awful. My boss loved that place and would always do happy hours there. Fugly chicks and less than mediocre food
