I was watching some of the Clemson game vs. NC State last week (flipping during maryland-miami) and Da'quan Bowers is really good. He just kept on making plays.

I've enjoyed Andrew Luck this year, as well, but there's something about him that doesn't inspire confidence about being a #1 pick. Sort of like Alex Smith. I mean, Pac 10 defenses are pretty swiss cheese.

Show me a national title contender that didn't have alot of qulaity NFL talent.

Bama-Texas
Florida-Oklahoma
LSU-Ohio State
Florida-OSU
USC-Oklahoma
OSU-Miami
Miami-Nebraska

I can keep going but FSU, Oklahoma, Va. Tech and Tenn pop up in the next three. Safe assumption there was some NFL talent on those teams.

I want to see LaMichael James a future NFL tailback in the open field against Patrick Peterson rather than the guy pumping gas 5 years from now in Minnesota waiting for the Hartford Generals to give him a UFL tryout.

Ask Oklahoma how that went last year. They had 3 of the first 4 picks and 4 1st rounders. By the end of the season they weren't even in the top 25

I can address all three points

1. Ronnie, Bradford didn't play last year try and keep up.

2. LaMichael James when he declares will be picked high.

3. Miamis not back, but when they were check out where they ended up at the end of the year. see 2002 and 2003 title games.

Im not saying that having NFL talent automatically puts you in the title game which you guys can't seem to get past. Im saying that to be in the title game, you need real NFL talent.

Good to know that when you aren't bringing down CT HS football programs, you are scouting all of college football to determine who is NFL caliber talent.
