I went to Mexico 2 weeks ago for 5 days. Playa Del Carmen. Was awesome.

Incidentally, I'm getting married there next year.

You pussies who think that the cartel ridden northern/central part of Mexico and the southeastern coasts of Mexico are the same are delusional.

Also, nicest people I've ever encountered. Zero issues. Cancun airport is like any other airport.

My point is that there are plenty of other places to vacation. And some of that shit has hit tourist areas, Sim.

Not to mention Americans are moving targets when they travel abroad---it's arrogant and/or ignorant to think "it can't happen to me there---I'm an American tourist, goddammit!".

Congrats on the engagement though.

Amanda Knox was indicted Monday on slander charges after she claimed Italian cops assaulted her during questioning in 2007 about her roommate's murder.

Knox, who is serving 26 years in prison for the slaying of British student Meredith Kercher, said she did not mean to slander anyone and was just trying to defend herself.

She told the court in a prepared statement, "I didn't mean to offend or slander anybody. I reiterate, I was only trying to defend myself. I was exercising a right."

The trial will begin on May 17 in Perugia, central Italy.
