Absolutely the best episode so far. I liked it better than The U. Great stuff.

He came from Philadelphia, Mississippi. A little backstory about the town he grew up in and how it related to his youth doesn't hurt.

Agreed. It was fantastic. I just think the storyline of how a black athlete brings together races in the South is a bit tired.

The backstory they chose to go with happened 15 years before he even entered high school, and Philly had integrated when he was in the 1st grade. IMO I didn't think it was relevant backstory.

It was relevant so far as someone watching who may not be well versed in American history might be saying to themselves "now where have I heard of Philly, Ms" so they answer the question. Not to mention, one of his friends father was a central figure in what happened several years earlier.

Nutshell......I don't think it was a stretch to include 5 minutes of history in a two hour documentary in this instance.

A couple others have been added apparently.

What have they added? There are 30 on that list. The one on SMU will be tough to screw up.

Can't remember but IIRC there will be 5 more that are a "new season".

I looked up and just noticed....getchyer DVR's ready. I still haven't seen Two Escobars. Can't wait.

Does that mean because he was only six, he wasn't affected by it?

I think I only saw bits and pieces of the Bias episode.

I edited my above post to include an honorable mention.
