Boston Globe "Best Places to Work"

I'm assuming most everyone here works at places with perks like these.

For the happy hour crowd at TripAdvisor, the travel review site based in Newton, nothing beats the kegerator, a refrigerator that dispenses beer from two kegs on Friday afternoons, or whenever a party is in order.

Employees at Hill Holliday don't have to hustle out the door for a 5 p.m. manicure, or take time out of their weekends to get a haircut. They can take care of those chores in the advertising agency's own beauty room, where local hairstylists, manicurists, masseuses, and tailors visit throughout the month to offer their services.

At HubSpot, nobody has to hoard their paid time off. That's because there is no vacation policy at the four-year-old Cambridge Internet marketing software company: Everyone can take as much as they want. Thanks to the Internet and ever-present mobile devices, no one works 9 to 5 any more, so the company did away with its two-week vacation policy in January to compensate employees for all their late-night e-mails and weekend projects.

There are a lot of companies that offer coffee at the workplace but brewing machine company Keurig Inc. supplies both the home and the office. The Reading company supplies each employee with a $170 Platinum home brewer, as well as four free boxes of coffee a month -- enough for about 96 cups.

Also, here's 1/2 of the cut, buddy......

As Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. prepares to launch its first product, a treatment for Hepatitis C, the Cambridge biotech company is hiring a flurry of new employees to get the drug on the market. To help the process along, Vertex is giving $1,000 to $2,000 incentives to every employee who refers a job candidate who gets hired full time, and entering them in a drawing to win a hybrid car.
