The Twitter

Typical El Presidente Random Thoughts type stuff

Oh I "get" twitter and have absolutely no need for it. Until it becomes my only option for similar information there is no need for it. I can get news feeds on google. The need to follow nobodies on twitter is null and any important info broken on twitter is immediately available through other non annoying vehicles.

Whatever floats your boat, bro.

I just know that I get a shitload more info in the areas I'm interested in than before I signed up. If something gets annoying, sayonara.

what do you get that you couldn't get going to google.com doing a search and reading the news feeds? i'm not being difficult i'm just curious.

if i go to google and type in tim duncan i get a section on the search with all of the internet's most recent news items on tim duncan, constantly scrolling up to the minute - including twitter. no?

Maybe, riu. I honesly never used google's version.

I got it primarily as another avenue to send links to my blogs, not necessarily as a preference over a similar device. And once I started using it and got used to it, I got hooked on it (and turned the esteemed Jerry Thornton onto it and he's quite funny on it). I know I could get the same info elsewhere or (possibly) quicker. But I just like having my own personal mix of sports news, real world shit, random celebs (most of whom aren't funny), friends/associates, and just some other random shit. I always ending up seeing something I definitely wouldn't have otherwise seen.

I know it gets compared to FB and lumped in with it. But they're two distinctly different things (I have test-driven FB though I never bought).

I like twitter. I'm not a fanatic and I don't have notifications set up for when the application is closed and running in the background I get notified every time I get a new tweet because that would be overkill but I open it up a few times a day and I have it on a lot on the weekends.

I think its great for sports news....why have to go look for it when it gets sent right to you?

I also follow a few pro golfers, sports writers, and even a porn star or 3 (amazing how much of a whore bree olson really legitimately is).

Twitter = thumbs up, but not like life changing.

At Vegas airport with cum all over my face. Whatever. Even for people that don't know I'm Bree Olson, at least they'll know I'm a whore.

McAdams spot on for this. Probably my favorite person on twitter to follow is Schefter or Millman.

also stopped following Buzz Bissinger. Guy just goes on rants that are like articles.

Woo-hoo! More generic quotes and charity pimping!
