He had a pretty good year on Tour, but he's slow as shit and goofy as can be. He won early in the season and didn't even know it until his playing partner told him.

Look up the story of Rory Sabbatini walking a hole ahead of him once b/c of how slow he played. Sabbatini's a douche, but that's beside the point.

From the something you don't see everyday dept....

Jon Byrd aced the 4th playoff hole to win the Vegas Open.

I've heard he's a pretty straight and narrow guy but surely he's at the tables right now...

Playing Granite Links tomorrow morning. Never been. Hoping it's a little better than MCA's description.

Granite Links absolutely worth the ride down. Played 18, then got to play the Members 9. Greens were fast and true. Anyone who thinks there are too many "blind shots" either a) hits the ball sideways, or b) are morons who can't comprehend the hole layouts on the GPS attached to the golf cart.

The GPS don't work in half the carts and what the fuck does a GPS help when its cart path only? Glorified "picture engraved on the stone."

And the last time I played w/ you you got fucking housed by two 18's there Nicklaus.

it was all those blind shots at the piece-of-shit Meadows of Peabody that did me in. tooting your horn about a match 2 or 3 years ago in the past. no wonder you scout high school football...
