I know this was a boston clip but Ken Coleman's call of Yastrzemski's 9th inning catch to preserve (for one out) Billy Rohr's no hit bid in Yankee Stadium was one of the best calls I've ever heard. Keep in mind the reaction of the crowd... it was a road game but it sounds like a Fenway.

Elizabeth Moreau was in Gainesville to cover a University of Florida volleyball match. According to the Gainesville Police Department, Moreau was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn at 4075 S.W. 33rd Place when she got a call in her room at 12:20 a.m.

According to a report by Officer Thomas Hayes-Morrison, the caller told Moreau the hotel was on fire and that she should block the door to her room with towels. The guest complied with the request. Then the caller told Moreau to remove the porcelain lid from the toilet tank and use it to break a window. After complying with the caller's instructions, Moreau told Hayes-Morrison, she became suspicious because the caller made some rude comments to her.

Moreau also told police she had been stalked in the past by a prison inmate.

Capt. Ed Book said the incident remains under investigation.

SG: I can't. By the way, what should I do here? My baseball team (the Red Sox) just bought an English Premier League team (Liverpool), only I already picked an EPL team (Tottenham Hotspur). Do I have to switch? I've only been seriously following Tottenham for 15 months. I've never been to a game at White Hart Lane. I've never worn a jersey. It's not like I have any real ties to them -- it's just a team I randomly picked to follow. If the Red Sox play up the Liverpool connection, play exhibition games in Fenway, make special jerseys and hats that tie both teams together ... Cablevision, locked in a dispute with Fox that blacked out the first game of the World Series for millions of subscribers, brought out some relief.

The cable company sent an email to its customers Wednesday, saying it would reimburse them the fee if they sign up for a live Internet feed to watch the Texas Rangers play the San Francisco Giants.

Customers who purchase the MLB.com package and forward their purchase confirmation to Cablevision will have a $10 credit applied to their monthly bill within two billing cycles.

MLB charges a $9.95 fee.

The offer came as Fox yesterday rejected a last-minute effort from Cablevision to pay more for its TV stations.
