what did they do to become Heroes?

Also, if anything, the fact that all of them survived (or will presumably survive) makes each of them even less a Hero.

Christa McAuliffe? She only blew up

Charles Lindbergh? he only flew across an ocean a trillion others have flew over


Nathan Hale? We all only have one life for crying out loud

No offense but these hero's probably lived better in that hole for the last few month than they would if they were at home.

Everybody knows all World Series heroes and astronauts were either drunk or high on cocaine.
