NHL 10-11 Season

For all non-Boston, non-gambling sports chatter

I hope not. I'd rather have the best tandem in the league than a career back-up and a fragile prodigy who just went from frying pan to fire.

Stay classy, Habs fans. What a bunch of arrogant assholes. Hazmat had one good spring and he's Ken Dryden now? Please.

Oh, and "catnip for the haters" was a good line when describing the pussies who booed Sally.

Price is literally in a no win situation. He'll be ridden out of town on a rail and the Habs will have nothing to show for it. Keeping Halak was the smarter move and they blew it.

I agree that Price is in a no-win situation (unless he wins), but I still think the Habs made the right move. People want to forget that Halak was yanked 3 times during the playoffs and as a smaller goalie is not considered a guy that can carry a team over a season.

Paying him for one playoff run isn't wise in the current salary cap structure (hi Flounder) and turning him into Eller (a bigger center that the Habs really need) wasn't a bad deal.

There is also a reason Price was signed short-term. Both he and the Habs know that if he struggles early, he still has value to other teams since he's young and his deal isn't bad. Very similar situation to Mason in Columbus (minus the wack-job "fans").

Hate to break it to you, but Price isn't playing tonight. Auld was in net...however the chanting is ridiculous and should be left to a moron fan base like Philly.

Never said he was.

The fact that he's not makes it worse.

Did he receive a penalty for the "shoulder/elbow" acting job worthy of an Oscar?

Did he receive a penalty for the "shoulder/elbow" acting job worthy of an Oscar? The Canadiens are hockey stick carrying soccer players, diving and whining for calls at every opportunity.
