Trade Drew and eat the rest....he embodies all that has sucked the last couple years.

Sign Crawford, trade Kelly+ for Gonzo.

Get after 3 bullpen arms to join Pap, Bard, Doubront, and Atchison.

Rays will suck, Sox should waltz to at least the WC.

We are approaching the end of the BRIDGE. You know what would be funny, is if some of you guys could find and post all sorts of pictures showing various bridge disasters/collapses. That would be keen.

A-pip and Theo will tell you that JD Drew is one of the best offensive OFers in baseball. His RBI count is low but that doesn't matter. He takes a lot of walks.

He needs to go. He is a major symptom the problem that is leading to the apathy Boston fans are starting to show. They need a splash....and if they don't get Crawford, they need to trade for Gonzalez. Or both.

I don't think they are far off....one bat and some bullpen help puts them in the mix. Not sure what to do with Ortiz.....he did just good enough to make himself an issue this offseason.

Or Youk, Pedroia, and Ellsbury pretty much missing most of the season. Or Beckett and Lackey pitching like Robinson Checo and Abe Alvarez.

The bullpen sucked, but one Padre defector wouldn't have made up for all that.

I love how people still think the Padres are going to trade their franchise player (and hometown guy)for prospects after being in the playoff hunt all year.

If the Sox want Gonzalez they need to be prepared to trade Clay plus prospects.

Please tell me how the Rays will suck next year.
