I got tix to the Sox this weekend...in the Bronx...with guys from Philly (friends/future fam of groom for bach party)...kill me...might just give the kid $70 and hit a bar. Guarantee the Philly guys start a dust-up with NYers and Boston guys get dragged into it. Pass.

Until it's no longer remotely believable.
I'd like for somebody to do a story about attendance figures. Went to a Connecticut Tigers game this year...not a snowball's chance in hell the number of people in the park was anywhere near the reported number.

Announced attendance is usually # of tix sold/given away, not actual attendees. No way were there 14,000 in Garden Thursday.

They weren't even this invisible in 2006, the last time they missed the postseason. It's been many years since the Sox have been this irrelevant.
