Born in Fall River. Raised on the New Bedford docks, where my father and both of my brothers were commercial fishermen.
You can argue about your cold crappy beaches, I spent my youth on Buzzard's Bay and Newport.
Cool bars. Cheap beer. Party friendly. Great food. Portuguese women. Less snow. Friendly people. Cheap houses. Easier Cape & Islands, Foxwoods, Providence and NYC access.

Good question. There a bunch of shops and bars around that corner. It may have become the End Zone. Before my time.
The Foxy Lady that had the infamous shootout a few years back is running again as Temptation. My brother owns a bar down the street.
