The East could be a bitch this year and I like the 1st round matchups. Caps-NYR should be a fun, long drawn out affair. I hope the Islanders kill Pittsburgh and that pussy Crosby. Canadiens and Ottawa should be a bloodbath and the Bruins-Leafs should be quite fiesty as well. Toronto isn't going to take it anymore and the physical stuff should start early and often. As is the case every year they will only go as far as their hot goalie takes them and Rask has been pretty damned good lately. I'm enthused about their chances, even if I would like to have them scoring more than they have been.

nothing about the last month of the games has me thinking they can turn on the switch.....I hope I am wrong

They can't afford to allow any shitty goals.... and have to cash in when they get their chances because they haven't been exactly lighting the lamp like the 71 Bruins.
