2011-2012 Local College Hoops

Postby joey_zaza » Mon Nov 14, 2011 7:35 pm

Been waiting for the annual Umass thread, but guess my fellow minutemaniacs have given up and moved on along with everyone else here. How am I supposed to get my hopes up that this is the year we return to glory only to find out that we suck again?

anyway, big victory over a powerhouse Elon team to start the season. A true test for New England supremacy against Northeastern tonight. @BC next Monday night in the much anticipated Commonwealth Classic

Local college basketball is the the greatest play in the sports book. All perception and little inside information. Numbers have been way off. 4.5 against NE was a joke. Made two bills on it. UMass was vastly underestimated.

They trashed the DDM this year. Chaz Williams is the real deal. And this team is deep, together and experienced.

how awful is BC? They'll be lucky to split this big 6 game stretch against Providence, StoneyBrook, Bryant, Sacred Heart, Harvard and URI before they finally get a break in the schedule against UNC.

Guess Al Skinner wasn't so bad after all.

Northeastern #1 seed in the CAA tourney. Haven't played in the big dance since 1991.
