It's not a huge loss. It's sucks and they are now the #3 seed but going into Denver or Houston does not leave anybody quivering. They kicked the absolute shit out of both Denver and Houston this season and there is no reason why they can't do it again. Also and plus, they beat Denver without Hernandez and they beat Houston without Gronkowski and barring another injury both should be available in January. If the Pats can't win on the road they don't deserve it but I personally don't think last nights loss was absolutely devastating. Besides, Houston still has to go into Indy and could still lose in Week 17, leaving NE as the 2 seed. And again, Denver's defense doesn't frighten me at all and the Patriots did whatever they wanted to all game without breaking a sweat. If you think it was a fluke check last year's playoff game tape.

p.s. "Devastating" would be better used to describe a team on the wrong end of a 34-0 asswhupping that left the team that scored 0 not in control of their own destiny and having to rely on other teams winning or losing to allow them in the playoffs.

Denver is a totally different team then when the PATS played them at the beginning of the year. Going into Denver during the playoffs is not going to be fun....not getting the 2 seed may come back to haunt them

bottom line they played like shit, fumbles dropped passes, blown coverage and almost won a shoot out....no rain neutral turf a rematch would be great and a totally different game
