I watched the debate, then South Park. Romney wiped the floor with Obama and it wasnt close. I dont agree with most things he put forth but he did so succinctly and clear. By the way maybe someone here can confirm. Romney's tax plan is not to raise the middle classes taxes just remove a half dozen deductions the class takes...right?


I dont begrudge him his money at all.....not sure i like all the ways he gets it and I'm wholeheartedly pissed I paid nearly twice the tax percentage as he did though. If he were like Reagan and came out and said its ok for the well to do to pay a bit more in a time of crisis for our country I'd push some old ladies down to vote for him in November....but his plan seems to be one of tax breaks for the rich and more taxes on the rest to me and I cant read anything anywhere that changes my view. Im effectively done with waiting for scraps from the proverbial table to make it down. Add in the gay/women/marriage/separation of church and state issues and he cant be my guy

Plus his whole position seems to change with the wind.....evident by the fact that Obama went after his tax plan that he put out and campaigned on for a year and a half to win the GOP ticket and when O got there he had changed it entirely. Suddenly Romney has become champion of the middle class??? When the fuck did that happen??

I thought Romney did very well last night. His responses were clear and he made it a point to address everything that was brought up instead of the doublespeak. A trillion dollar deficit for the past 4 years after promising to cut the deficity in half and Obama having not a single come back to refute this didn't look good either. We're fucked either way.
