10 minutes before my draft started tonight.....a severe stomach cramp hit and I had to make an emergency entry in the crumple or fold thread.

3 minutes later(t-minus 7 minutes to draft time) I get a knock on the bathroom door telling me there is a geyser in the front yard.

2 minutes before draft time I am reaching around in a deep puddle of water finding where to turn the water off at the meter.

1 minute before draft time I tell my wife to get a plumber on the way I have a draft to pick. That bought me an hour of peaceful drafting before I had to divide my attention again. Couldn't have happened on a worse night.

Of local interest, I landed Tom Brady and Wes Welker.

No brainer right?

My RB's are McFadden, Mathews, Murray and Sproles, Benson and Wilson

my WR are Megatron, Maclin, Garcon and Wayne

Its a PPR

I would drop Burleson and pick a flyer off the wire like Ty Hilton

thanks for the input...assholes

and AY...I would have been have a nervous breakdown

I would keep Murray because Matthews and McFadden are injury prone. If Wilson becomes the starter because of Bradshaw's fumbling or injuries then he's a pretty good play, and then you can deal for a WR. I don't know what to make of Benson. Seems like a great value pick but he could fall off the grid pretty quickly (remember Rudi Johnson). I have been reading Alex Green is worth watching in GB.

Did you draft Murray before Marshall was drafted?

yeah....I had him queued up and the guy I am making the trade with snatched him up 3 picks before me.....so I went BPA in Demarco, which I thought was a steal in the late 3rd

hell, Murray is injury prone as well, plus that O line is Dallas is getting worse by the week....

Bottom line is I guess if I don't pull the trigger I have to be confident in my Maclin, Garcon, Wayne platoon for the WR2

The possible starting lineup of
Ryan
McFadden
Mathews (when he is healthy)
Sproles as the Flex
Meagtron
Marshall

is pretty fun to think about

Jay Cutler is throwing Marshall the ball. I'd have to up my demands a little to make that trade.

nope...I think Cutler has a big year esp with Marshall....I made the trade. Marshall was the #11 wr last year with joe schmoe throwing him the ball in miami, he goes big this year reunited with Cutler

Matty Ice
Run DMC
Sproles
Megatron
Marshall
Mathews/Maclin for flex
Pettigrew
Giants D
Tynes

Bench is Wayne, Benson, Wilson, Schaub, Burleson...probably drop Burlseson for a waiver wire flyer

whenever I think of Cutler I think of him taking himself out of that playoff game a couple years ago and that scrub had to come in and play. Can't even think of the guys name.

Detroit likes to throw the ball. Burleson might be worth holding onto at least until a must have comes along.

Did my first auction on Saturday. I was the most against the switch from snake to auction out of everyone in the league and I must say I enjoyed it. 12 teams I ended up with:

Brees $48
McFadden $45
Lynch $31
Turner $22 (flex)
Desean Jackson $15
Heyward-Bey $8
Owen Daniels $1

Bench:
Stevie Johnson $10
Hillis $10
Tate $8
La Fell $1
Vereen $1
Turbin $1 (Lynch hand-cuff)
Goodson$1 (DMC hand-cuff)

Right after the draft I traded Turner for Gates straight up and Hillis and DJax for Dez Bryant, and Steve Johnson straight for Torrey Smith.

So I now own Dez, Gates, and Smith.

Have to choose between DHB and Tate for Flex this week. Leaning DHB in what should be a shoot-out vs. San Diego.
