I'm in one this year. $75 fee. Two winners last year each got $134K.

WTF are the secret codes?

Apparently Ducey doesn't want this open to the public anymore, so if you wanted to enter you would need to get the code from a current participant. If you're interested I can PM them to you. Last year there were 739 entries at 100 bucks a pop for a prize pool of $73,900. You have to get 3 wrong to be eliminated. The person who survived the longest after getting 2 losses got $1000. After the Giants SB win there were 6 people remaining with 1 loss that split the remaining $72,900 6 ways for $12,150 a person.

That's some nice cheddar. If my math is correct there were over 3500 entries in that pool.

Actually, rules are slightly different:

Last year, for the 2nd year in a row we had only 2 winners and they
took home just under $134K each. We had over 3700 entries and if
history is any indication, this year's pot will be even bigger. Feel
free to pass this on to anyone you wish, but I stress that YOU WILL BE
ON THE HOOK FOR THEM IF THEY DON'T PAY UP. As the pool gets larger
and is on the Internet, it's much harder for me to regulate who joins.
That's why I need everyone else to be diligent and cautious about who
they bring into it. And I'd actually prefer it if you'd collect the
entry fees from anyone you bring in and just send me 1 bulk check
instead of many smaller ones. Also, please have any referrals list
your name in the referral box when they register on the web site. NEW
FOR 2012: ALL NEW PARTICIPANTS MUST E-MAIL ME BEFORE JOINING
. THIS WAY I'LL KNOW WHO REFERRED THEM TO
THE POOL IN CASE THEY DON'T FILL OUT THE REFERRAL BOX WHEN THEY
REGISTER.

Like last season, you'll have to pick 2 teams to win for the last 4
weeks if there are over a certain # still alive. I've done this to
try to cut down on the possibility of multiple winners at the end of
the season... here's how it will work:

If after week #13 we still have over 100 entries alive, you will have
to select 2 teams to win in week 14

If after week #14 we still have over 50 entries alive, you will have
to select 2 teams to win in week 15

And if after week #15 we still have over 25 entries alive, you will
have to select 2 teams to win in week 16

Lastly, if after week #16 we still have over 10 entries alive, you
will have to select 2 teams to win in week 17


You must win BOTH games to continue on. If no one is able to pick
both games correctly in the week that the pool ends, the people that
picked 1 game correctly will split the pot. If everyone loses on both
picks, everyone who made picks in that week will split the pot. The
site has been upgraded to alert you to pick 2 teams if and when that
occurs.
