Day before the 4th, boss is at one of his vacation homes. Office closing early? Nope, no chance. Official answer was "was would I close early, no one else does any work anyways"...or something to that effect.

Week-long vacation in 2 weeks. Looking forward to not being here. Vacation request might be denied (which never happens here. to anyone. ever.) because there's a trial that week...on a case I don't work on.

I'm on vacation this week. Fortunately the temperature has dropped to the low 100's the last couple of days. Going outside to do anything is brutal right now. What a way to spend a week off.

I'd almost rather be at work and I hate my job more than Bluc. Even worse, I could possibly be getting promoted soon(once a shithead gets shitcanned) and I'll triple my pay. What's worse than working a job you hate? Being trapped at a job you hate because it pays so damned much you can't afford to leave. Good news is I've put myself in a pretty good spot financially as far as bills go and if I do get promoted I can pay my wife's car off and bank some cash.
