DC ever been to Michael White's Osteria Morini? Got a reservation coming up next week.

Les Halles is taking over Balthazar as my go to place, been 5/6 times already this year. Servers are much more friendly and casual, good inexpensive wine, great food.

Went Saturday got Escargot, Mussels for apps, Steak Au Poivre(rare) cooked perfectly and a great house wine. Best fries ever.

Yup. There's one around 30 & Lex, and I tried the one downtown(wtc) for the first time last week.

Went for lunch on Friday. Split all this with a friend. We started out with Mortadella, Sopressata, and Salame Romagnolo. Then we got their homemade pastas - Garganelli and Gramigna. Then for entrees we got Branzino and Skirt Steak. Everything was unbelievable, best dining experience in a while. Great wine selection too.

DC next time you're up here you should check it out.

Do you get a booth when you go out so you can prop your leg up?
