Not a fan of stripers. And it's not because of how I prepare it. Just one of the few ocean creatures I don't enjoy dining on, like blues (not a big salmon guy, either). And I'll try pretty much anything from the sea.

Plenty of lakes & ponds down there if you're not close to Gulf.

B, I doubt any of those M*A*S*H* stunt doubles have licenses. My buddies fished there for years and never got asked (they were actually closer to Staties, down on pier by dam).

Yes...Yes there are. I've had a line of them cross the fairway at the course we played in Hyde Park.

The Vineyard is supposed to be great for deer hunting, but the season on the island is very very short. Friend of a friend nailed something like 11 over a weekend last year.

BS1, there's plenty of good fishing in New England---just gotta seek it out. But MA is the Bay State.
