So Joba and his Theismann-esque ankle fiasco has to be a career ender, right? I'm a little confused how a "dislocation" can end up with the bone sticking through the skin, unless the bone was broken. If the bone is broken why is it called a dislocation instead of a broken ankle? I can't stand Chamberlain but I wouldn't wish this injury on anybody, and I especially feel bad for his son for having to watch the process unfold.

Rivera says he's not going out like that.

The Orangemen are just a rock-solid, consistent winner that hasn't suffered a losing season since 1968-69.

The Nationals have a chance to be like the Braves in the 90's. The next decade could be huge in DC.

Kerry Wood K'ing the last guy he faced then walking off to a standing O and greeted by his young son = not bad way to go out

Second on the all-time list for K/9 after Big Unit. Pedro 3rd.

Yankees caught a break in missing Strasburg this weekend.

I would enoy seeing Baltimore knock the Yankees out of 1st place and then having the Yankees lose a one game playoff to Oakland, who will lose one of their head to head games with Texas this week and will be the other wild card.

If it weren't for Raaoooooooollllll bailing the NYY's out the other night in Game 3 the Yankees would be packing the golf clups for a long off season.
There will be some puckering going on if the Orioles get a lead on Sabathia. Also and plus, the sound of Wieters' broken bat hitting fat boy Joba's elbow last night was pretty nasty.
