this Fab Melo thing is the best news I've heard in weeks. Guy looks like a complete retard, I would bet he's been to class less than a dozen times since school started.

To quote Gunnery Sgt. Hartman:

Jesus H. Christ

On a side note bad news for those who hoped to scalp your Garden regional tickets to Cuse fans since they'll be losing this weekend.

A tight-lipped Jim Boeheim would not elaborate on the suspension of center Fab Melo, but insisted neither he nor his players were disappointed in their sophomore big man.

The Syracuse coach took his turn at the podium for his required media session on Wednesday, the day before his top-seeded Orange face UNC Asheville in the second round of the NCAA tournament. But, he could offer little in the way of clarification on Melo's ineligibility.

"I can't talk about any of this but I will say he didn't let anybody down in my opinion, all right?" Boeheim said. "I know that's out there. I don't believe that to be true."

Keep telling yourself that, Jimmy. Title contender to an afterthought. All because of some 7 foot imbecile.

VCU game was pretty good. And the Cuse ref should kill himself.

I can't make the games due to work, but did any of you buy tickets to the Garden games for this weekend with the intent of scalping them? Should be a sellers market with Cuse, OSU, and Wisconsin in there.

AY, you've made comments on the hockey board in the past about UAH, right?

We might have to make a little wager in the D2 hoops national championship.

lol

got home in time to watch the last 3 minutes of the game. I think they scored two points in that entire span.

I know everyone associates Alabama with football, but as far as quality of play, basketball is king in this part of the state. Another local college just won a national championship, and the high schools are strong as well.

Robinson/Sullinger should be a great matchup next week. Also SU just got whistled for another phantom foul.

Interesting equation. Using the 35 year cutoff from this article here are some scores from the stoolie's favorite hoops teams. Playoff appearances will be NCAA bids.

Syracuse - NC: 1 RU: 2 PA: 28 LS: 0 = 101
storz - NC: 3 RU: 0 PA: 18 LS: 6 = 93
BC - NC: 0 RU: 0 PA: 14 LS: 12 = -8
