Jailed basketball star Jayson Williams has transformed himself into a churchgoing mentor to other prisoners at Rikers Island — earning him the nickname “The Moses of Rikers.”

Christopher Hughes, who was incarcerated at Rikers for 100 days with the former New Jersey Net, tells us the baller is beloved by all behind bars with him, from crackheads to gangbangers.

“People treat him like a star,” said Hughes, who was released from Rikers last week after serving time for reckless assault. “Every single person shakes his hand. He is like Moses, the Moses of Rikers.

I was hoping Linsanity might bring Ronnie back. Good to see one school in Boston can produce NBA talent.
I'm havin a good time, Jacques Martin's tryin to ruin it.

No one wants to talk about how Lin is a matador on defense or how he's turned the ball over more times in a 5 game stretch than any other player in history.

Chink in the armor.
Tremendous headline.
Of course it was posted @ 2:00 am and you have to wonder if the author was drunk when he decided to go with it. Of course nobody would have batted an eye at were it written about any other player in the NBA.
A fine example of slanted journalism @ the worldwide leader.
Is this a friable offense?

Since when did Ronnie B start writing for ESPN.com?

Then there was Whitlock's "2 inches of pain" comment.

Back to earth for Linsanity.. 1-11 from field and a shitload of turnovers .. was like watching tebow play the pats ... most impressive to me is how much better Bosh is this year.. anytime heat went cold and lead got doen to 8 Bosh would hit the clutch shot.. NO ONE but OKC can even think of beating these guys 4 out of 7..

I don't think restraining from using Chink is a PC thing---just common decency.

If the kid wasn't perceptive enough to see his headline shouldn't have been used,
then he shouldn't be doing headlines anyways.
