Anyone been? Booked my flight yesterday for a bachelor party. I don't think anyone that we're going with going really knows much about it, other than its supposed to be a great time.
Any tips for how to go about it? We're getting these tickets, which seem to be the right play

been to the preakness about 10x....they have really toned down the infield partying in recent years due to all the problems they had
you used to be able to bring your own booze (we would literally fill up garbage cans full of beer and wheel it into the infield. Usually got there around 7am or so. From there it was just a debacle for the rest of the day. I would make all of my bets for the races first thing in the morning and then party the rest of the day.
naked chicks, fights, people pissing in the open air....ahhhhhh......and if it rained all the better.
Should still be a decent time
If you are partying friday night and you want the "club scene" stay in the inner harbor area, like 2 blocks up (Lombard Street? i think its cllaed the power plant or something like that)
If you like the dingy bars, etc, head over to fells point
They also have the Hustler Club and other seedy joints up on E. Baltimore St
and only like 3 people read the board anymore

I went to the Power Plant when in Balt for the Pats-Skins. They have a little bit of everything there. I've been to Balt. about 5 times you can't really go wrong whether you pick Inner Harbor, Fells Point, or Federal Hill. I'd stay in one spot and just bar hop.
