I think the SEC was genius in the way they expanded. Bring in two teams that expand the geographical footprint that won't seriously challenge for conference supremacy anytime soon. It took Arkansas and South Carolina over ten years to be competitive in the upper tier of the league. I imagine the same will happen with Texas A&M and Missouri.
The Orangemen are just a rock-solid, consistent winner that hasn't suffered a losing season since 1968-69.

Maybe not that long. Missouri and aTm are in much better shape now than Arkansas and SC were when they entered.

Time to rename the stadium to Nick Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

By most accounts, Saban is a real fucking asshole.

Depends on what you are talking about. I know two people who have encountered him at work and he was a complete red ass, but his players and their parents love him. He cares about teaching, winning, getting kids educated and prepared for life after college, whether it be football or in the business world. Those are his passions.

Personally, I don't care how big of an asshole he is as long as he keeps winning(and he has so far) and he keeps doing right by the kids(and he has so far).

His treatment of kind, adoring strangers, a measure of one's character, has been reported to be pretty rude & condescending.

But you're right---who cares if you're a fan of the program.
