AY- Mullen has a lot of NE ties. He was mentioned as a possible candidate at the Cuse when he was still at UF. Despite this scandal, the next person at PSU still has a ridiculous chance to win- facilities, funding, and solid recruiting base.

Fuck it, bama had their chance.

Saban came up short in a big game (not that shocking)

Gundy and crew deserve a chance.

and if Bible comes on here spewing some Boise St. bullshit he should lose posting privileges.

What game is Bamas signature win?

Arkansas? 3rd or 4th place team at best in big 10, Big 12, or Pac 10.

I don't think enough voters will flip. In the last coaches poll Alabama got 54 of a possible 59 2nd place votes. In the last Harris Poll Alabama got 111 out of 115 2nd place votes (I'm assuming no voters put the Tide lower than 3rd).
The Orangemen are just a rock-solid, consistent winner that hasn't suffered a losing season since 1968-69.

Go read BCSguru.com and he'll tell you otherwise, X.

UConn.....you couldn't be more wrong.

Bottom line though, win on 11/5 and there isn't an issue.

arky would be no worse the #2 in big 10 please .. who is pokes sig win? 3 loss okl team that 5-7 TT beat at norman and who did not have their starting rb and all world wr? or is it the 3 point win over K st team that would be no better then 6th in sec by 3 at home .. lot of happenings this morning..im not getting into them but last night i thought it was over for tide and this morning I have hope.... vandy/iowa st would be a tossup thats all you need to know..

bama has the best win .. arky ranked higher then anyone okl st. beat
bama has best loss .. #1 ranked team in ot vs 6-6 team in ot
eyeball test .. even those voting for okie admit tide wins 7 or 8 out 10 against pokes ..
vegas .. lsu by -1.5 or 2 if bama and -13 to 14 if okie

Arkansas is absolutely better than anyone that Okie St beat this year. If Gundy wants his chance, next time he'll beat Iowa State. I

'll buy the "Bama had their shot" argument, but if the BCS is supposed to match 1 vs 2, it has to be LSU-Bama.

Of course, why would we want a playoff where we could actually decide this on the field?

Also and plus, Saban putting OK St. at #4 is shady, but the coach who put them at #5 should be shot.

He moved them up 1 spot, why is that shady?

don't get all the heat Finebaum stirred up with sabans okie #4 vote.. for starters even if every #4,5,6 vote okie got was a #3 they would have still been behind bama... This was confirmed Monday..

Second the same justification for putting bama over okie works for stanford..

Better loss: Bama : #1 LSU
Stanford: Pac 10 Champ Oregon
Okie St : 6-6 Iowa St.

Best Win: Bama: #6 Arky
Stanford #5 team in country USC overlooked by many cause they just look at bcs where usc is ineligible
Okie St: #10 K St.

biggest joke is the teams with winning records .. like a 7-5 win is so much bigger a deal then 6-6 win. all these 6-6 teams had to play lsu, bama, arky who are a combined 30-0 in games not between themselves!

not to mention Okie st was #5 in coaches poll week before so Saban moved them up a spot.. I laugh when anyone from Boston dosen't understand media making bigger deal over something saban does.. It's exactly the same way media treats BB .. Saban is the BB of college and thus anything he says or does will be broken down and over analyzed.. Now troy calhoun having okie # 6 is crazy.. Thankfully all of the #5 and #6 okie votes were from western US locations ..
