NHL 2011-2012 Season

Postby DC » Thu Oct 13, 2011 9:59 pm

DC fans have not realized yet that being a Caps fan is kind if like rooting for the Pats and Heat in the sense that reg seaosn means nothing at this point if team does not finish job in playoffs.. or am i just becoming a grumpy old man with MCA? I just cant get that fired up about reg season wins unless its bama football since every game counts..

That said FUCK PITT!

I hate starting the season in Europe.
The Orangemen are just a rock-solid, consistent winner that hasn't suffered a losing season since 1968-69.

Sure, why not?

What's it gonna be?

DC is a much, much better team with Vokoun. He was a quality #1 buried in Nashville then Sunrise.

Not getting on the ice while the other goalie is pulled is hardly a benching.

It was one shift and the coach was proven correct.

He hit the linesman twice... suspension time right there.
But the linesman didn't flinch, unlike a NBA ref who would've flopped like a soccer player.

When do the Royal Canadian Mounted Police start their investigation of Pacioretty for his blatantly obvious intent to injure Letang?
Chara hit Pacioretty and was not suspended by the NHL yet the RCMP opens an investigation on "the hit". (have they finished it yet?)
Pacioretty was suspended 3 games by the NHL for obviously injuring Letang yet there is no investigation.
Why is this? How can this be KW?
Two sets of rules, one for the Bruins, one for the Canadiens... Shocking.
