Thanks fellas! What an experience. She def took the sting out of that Sox collapse.

So who is going to start the Red Sox Roulette thread?!?!?!? Theo? Tito? Lackey? Papi? Papsmear? A lot of guys could be done with this team after this collapse.

But it still stings!!

its more disgust then shock .. this team won it all in 2007 with all these young guys on roster doing so.. they have have taken step back every year since .. 07 WS 08 ALCS 09 ALDS 10 & 11 no playoffs ... not to mention after the off season moves almost everyone proclaimed them AL champs with a showdown with philly in oct.. rays have made playoffs last 2 years sox have not.. team has underachieved big time..

And they're fat and have no balls. You left that part out.
Look at the comments from the first couple of pages of this thread... and how things actually turned out.

On September 3, the Red Sox had a 99.6% chance of making the postseason, according to statistican Nate Silver. The next day, Silver notes that Bill Buckner played himself on an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm that spoofed Buckner's legendary World Series error. The Sox went 6-18 after Buckner's cameo. As Larry David himself would say, that is a prett-ay, prett-ay, prett-ay big coincidence.

lol at "conditioning" as having anything to do with it. Last time I checked David Wells was a late season stalwart. He's the real picture of health, right?

The Red Sox paid too many fucking guys. Other than a select few, guys who get paid in baseball = don't give a fuck for a couple years after that. Its just how it is. That's what happens with 100% guaranteed contracts.

Per John Heyman of SI, Francona officially done with the Red Sox. Guess he had enough of Theo's shitty free agent decisions.

so who does the stool want as next manager of sox? Colin was talking stupid today mentioning some great choices but guys under contract like Scoiscia and Bochy .. got to think it will be more of a hardass after tito right? hope it does not end up being someone like Macha ... though there is no chance I'd love for them to bring in Sweet Lou for a final run ... win or lose it would def be interesting

They hardly dominate and took some serious steps back when they signed arod at first. Sox have fewer home grown guys too. Yanks kept home grown core intact. Sox didn't.
