its more disgust then shock .. this team won it all in 2007 with all these young guys on roster doing so.. they have have taken step back every year since .. 07 WS 08 ALCS 09 ALDS 10 & 11 no playoffs ... not to mention after the off season moves almost everyone proclaimed them AL champs with a showdown with philly in oct.. rays have made playoffs last 2 years sox have not.. team has underachieved big time..

They hardly dominate and took some serious steps back when they signed arod at first. Sox have fewer home grown guys too. Yanks kept home grown core intact. Sox didn't.
