Hit up Abe's Saturday (was ppd. from week of heat wave).

Started with seared ahi tuna & 1/2 dozen Blue Points. Both were great, as was the old lady's crabcake. I had a gift card for a deuce that I didn't want to leave like $18 on so I doubled up on apps.

They had a 24 oz. Porterhouse on special that I jumped all over (usually just the PH for 2 is available). I ordered it medium and, for what seemed like the 3rd or 4th time in a row (though not at Abe's), it came back raw inside so I had to send it back. It's funny because I'm the last guy that sends shit back but this thing was still swatting flies with its tail.

Came back just right. Still was only able to whack out about half of it (combo of size & apps). Made for good doggy bag & late Sunday snack though. Just the blue cheese mashed for a side.

Had a glass of red zin, she had 2 Pinots. Got desserts to take home---Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Chip Cheesecake. Came to 199.07...and I legit wasn't counting.

Another great meal at Abe's. Looking forward to next Del Frisco's but still have Cap Grille GC to use.

Has Ruths Chris got lost in the Boston Steakhouse mix? I remember when it opened it was hot spot and aside from Grill 23 its my favorite steak spot in Beantown.. Have not gone to del friscos in Boston yet though loved the NYC location ...

Through Sept 4 they're having a wine tasting type thing which is pretty much all you can drink of 9 different wines for $25/person. Buddy of mine went there with a group last time they had it and the waiter explained the promotion, they said "yeah we'll all have that" and the waiter just put the bottles down on the table and was like "just let me know when they're empty". Not a bad deal considering wines by the glass start around 10 bucks.

Not at Del Friscos but also got shit service this weekend. Fucking guy looked like he was dying for a fix. He rushed us out of the place. Hovered over the table after he gave me the check, no offer of dessert, no offer of more drinks. Food was really good though. On top of all that guy was pretty much a dick.
