I snapped called a kid saturday night playing cards. felt good. I'm more of a snap caller than say a smooth caller.

What kind of hold 'em games am I looking at? 1-2 NL? 2-5 NL? Either will do the trick.

Sat in on a 1-2 table to kill a couple hours before the entertainment arrived.

Bunch of clowns who fancy themselves hard-core players...at the lowest stakes table in the house. These guys were either there all day or there all the time, constantly speculating & guessing on what other players have. Cracks me up and fits in well with my all-over-the-road, unreadable 'style'.

The worst is the guy who doesn't have the balls to call but wants the winner to tell him what he had. GFY, pal. Like my grandfather taught me many years ago, you gotta pay to see 'em.

On top of all that, the table was lifeless & the pots sucked.

big tournament at Rockingham on Labor day (all Monday Holidays).

Mon Sep 5 1:00 PM $250 MEGA-STACK Tournament 30000 in Chips 30Min Blinds DOORS OPEN AT NOON

never played in it, but have been there later on those days and they usually get over 20 tables. goes very slow it seems. not sure if they actually get to a winner outright by the end. still a decent payday and after the "charity" rake.

very sad. In my defense, the initial post was meant in all sincerity as information and then it dawned on me that the joke was hanging right there.

I was playing 2-5 NL at the Holiday Inn in Aruba a couple weeks ago and got A-J, flop was A-3-3. Some guy had pocket 3's. Turn was a jack. I don't remember the exact sequence of betting, whether I went all in or he put me all in, but I had all my money in there after the turn. If I hit an Ace on the river it would have qualified for their bad beat and I would have won 50% off $48K. I didn't know this at the time but the other players and the dealer told me after the hand. I am used to Foxwoods rules - have to lose with quad 8's or better. Of all times to hit a 2 outter that would have been nice...

Sure it is---they just passed a law.

I'd say by '16 the latest. Curious where the 'Boston area' one will go. Hopefully north of the city, closer to NH/ME/VT.
