Its a fact that not all players are in the shape they would be in if they were supervised. Go watch dogs poop.

Tony Gonzalez
This kid Julio Jones is the real deal. He's the best incoming receiver I've ever played with. Come to think of it, it's not even close.

Colin Cowherd said this morning he was going to change his pick to win the NFC South from New Orleans to Atlanta for two reasons. The first reason was "I've heard from two different sources that rookie Julio Jones is 'shock and awe' good at camp."
"You stay bought into it when you see your opponent sucking air and physically failing, and you're still fit and ready, and you know you own his ass."

Cowherd is the worst. The absolute worst.

That shit about Goodell being a father to black players was so moronic (and, to many, racist and/or offensive) but because he's Colin Cowherd, it barely registered on a national level. He's like a Gresh for flyover country.

I'm one of the very few people down here who like him. Most Bama fans can't stand him but his show wasn't bad, though I haven't listened in years.

Not a fan per se, but this rant from 2006 about UVA football was spot on:

The Orangemen are just a rock-solid, consistent winner that hasn't suffered a losing season since 1968-69.

Cowherd is cocky at times but I love his show.. he stretches on some things but nothing like Gresh.. Love when he makes comparisons between real life stuff and a sports issue.. I also find he uses common sense much more then others on radio.. Gresh is not the brightest bulb on air and while colin can be a douche he is intelligent..

He openly admits to rooting for interesting stories then generate interest and ratings.. nothing wrong with that.. He is extremly high on favorites and big name teams and seeing Boston has many of those Cowherd has always been pro Boston for most part..

He refuses to talk hockey and thinks the NHL is a joke .. prob why RA is not a fan ..

Biggest reason to listen though is if your a college football guy.. all the espn shows talk NFL but Cowherd is huge college fan and from sept-super bowl his show is must listen ...

Nope, I had no idea he didn't talk hockey and the fact he thinks the NHL is a joke (the 2nd best-run/organized league of 4 majors). I just think he's a rube that says a lot of stupid shit (which some interpret as him just speaking his mind), particularly when it comes racial matters. And that show he does with tries-too-hard Beadle is horrible. Just not a fan.

But like you said, he does a lot of CFB and I don't.

Well, they're not locked-out right now about to miss a season & they don't have a have/have-not system so yeah, I'll put them #2 after the NFL.
