If Kaberle would've stayed for $3.5 or less, Bs might've bit. A training camp and learning the system from the hop can do wonders for a guy. He wasn't as bad as he looked at times during the playoffs. That said, thanks for the memories if that's what CAR is gonna give you. Best of luck.

agreed on the Corvo signing...solid

and when I saw what the Canes were giving Kaberle and just LOL'd and said happy trails....is what it is....

this years free agency has been a joke (as far as $$)

RA,

any chance the B's sign Cory Stillman?? I think he would be a solid contributor or is he too old and too high a price tag?

Read the blog, will ya?

:D

I think he'd be a good pick-up. Obviously on the back 9. But he can still chip in, much like Rex did last year (7 points in 7 games in SCF, BTW). His $3.5M paydays are behind him so I think he can be had for $2M or less. He'll be 38 in December but he'll also be looking for his 3rd Cup with his 3rd different team (also like Recchi) so he's certainly got some incentive. I've always liked his game and think he'd fit in fine with Bs.
