2011-12 Defending Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins

Pouliot is a low-risk, high potential reward for a one-year, $1.1M deal. Cheap $ for a bottom six guy (and a tremendous bargain if he were ever able to play on #2 line). Guy was a #4 overall pick just a few years ago. Plus, playoff scratch may have given him burr in his saddle where he wants to rub MON's face in it now. And Bs did great job turning a former 1st rounder into arguably the best PKer of the playoffs (Paille).

The longer Kaberle goes unsigned, the better chance he comes back for hometown discount. He's made plenty of dough and might want stay here for good chance at Cup #2. Also, PC is more likely to take him for $3-3.5M if only to justify high cost of getting him.

Bs fans should be happy PC hasn't taken a splash into the crazy pool with the rest of the GMs.

RA, it would be a shame if you don't get picked up by a major publication (barstool notwithstanding). Much like a syphilitic whore, your passion is infectious. Great job.

I'm thinking most bruin fans would be pleased with some media having them as 3rd to start season right?

I thought it was going to be 3rd in the northeast division. (behind Buffalo and Ottawa) only slightly joking

Don't think I'm ready for the season yet. Will be nice to see the banner raised tomorrow, though.

The season got here quick but I'm jacked and pumped for this season. Looking forward to watching a team that cares, Especially with the huge MLB post season void left by the no sack gutless choking booze hounds over on Yawkey way.
