Overpaid backup? They don't give 5 million bucks to backups. He won the Vezina two years ago and was rewarded with a nice raise. Last year he was hurt and the injury required surgery, which he had in the off season and which was clearly successful to the point where he is now only the 2nd goalie ever to win the Vezina, Conn Smyth and Stanley cup in the same season.

Just caught 3rd period and OT of G7 vs. MON on NHL Net.

Forgot how close Seidenberg was to knocking puck into net before saving it. Also, TT's left pad save on Moen's Boychuk-deflected shot was pretty sick.

Montreal came thisclose to knocking the B's out.
Philly? 4 straight forced them to gut the team because they had no Tim Thomas.
In retrospect Tampa Bay worried me more than the Canucks did, especially when they had were on the PP.
A lotta luck, a few lucky bounces and a tremendous ride on the back of TT which will never to be forgotten by fans of the spoked B.
Two weeks later and I'm still giddy.
