Chalmers will get offered a nice contract based purely because he can shoot his ass off. Whether he'll take it is another question.
Whores til proven otherwise. And they so rarely do.

Z-Bo isn't letting Battier go anywhere good bid.

Oh yeah Memphis is another team better than Miami next year

1. Bulls
2a. OKC
2b. Portland
4. Memphis
5. Atlanta (yes ATL, Teague will be nasty next year)
6. Dallas
7. Miami

Memphis reminds me of Atlanta a couple years ago. They took the celtics to 7 games and was regarded as top 4 team in the east and then went out and shit their pants under the pressure. Maybe Memphis is different and with Gay back they will be as good as advertised.

Then again Gay is in trade rumors for Ellis but who isn't being talked about for Ellis.

If Wilbon is talking about Redd, Dalembert or Battier that's just horrible.

Riley would be smart to get a couple of guys for the bench like Jeff Foster who will rebound and set picks and use their fouls.
I'm havin a good time, Jacques Martin's tryin to ruin it.

not really worried about it .. they can only end up playing one team from the west .. glad to see your love for portland is back tballer.. they are your real team i think.. had them beating mavs afterall and now top 3 team lol ...

miami went through east 12-3 will have a better regular season record with haslem and healthy miller since both essentially missed whole regular season .. dalembert is upgrade over anthony.. and anthony on bench is HUGE upgrade over dampier and Z .. battier is perfect for this team if they can get him .. unless howard ends up on bulls no one in east concerns me..

I could see okl city, dallas, lakers beating them in 7 game series but no one else.. memphis will never win 3 rounds in the west.. dangerous team for sure and an upset or two though ... more i think about it really like okl city or lakers out of west.. dallas seems like team that will take step back now that all those veterans have their rings.. we are running out of time for sterns dream kobe/lebron final.. hope its not like Hogan/Flair was in wrestling where when it actually happened was about 5-7 years too late lol

Portland got screwed with Dallas as a first round match-up. If Portland played Miami in the Finals = Portland in 6.

I wonder if a healthy Roy will help the Blazers next year?

I wonder if a healthy Roy is even possible. Anytime a basketball player has surgery on two knees and the surgery is called "unprecedented" I would be reluctant to count on him. Is meniscus important?

The Atlanta Hawks have started to gauge trade interest on forward Josh Smith(notes), and Smith isn’t averse to ending his seven-year stay with his hometown team, league sources told Yahoo! Sports on Monday.

Smith hasn’t requested a trade, but has privately told league friends that the Boston Celtics, New Jersey Nets, Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic are his preferred destinations should the Hawks decide to move him.
