North End people, God bless 'em, don't appear to be the most trivia savvy people in town. Frankly, a lot of people east of Mass Ave. don't appear to be. I sat next to a guy at Glover's on Tuesday night who asked his girlfriend "what song is this?" upon hearing a mashed-up clip featuring the vocals of "Super Freak." And I've had the host at McGreevy's tell me that Back Bay residents don't get many questions right either.

I've done 1400 events. I know what people know and what people don't know. Nobody's an idiot at trivia...anybody can be good if you find questions that are answerable for them. But by and large, I've found most players overall in the ritzier parts of town aren't the best trivia players. Those are found not even in Allston-Brighton, but in Cambridge.

- Rental Real Estate is priced by location first, size, amenities, etc. fall in line behind it.
- You can indeed find a 1 room in the North End for 900 or 950 a month. But it'll be a closet.

Seems the cost would have something to do with location and the lack of need for a vehicle cancels out the extra cost right?

Not needing a car is a big part of it. People can justify paying a bit more if they know they don't have/need a car to get to work/bars/clubs/the gym/the T, etc.

You've been to my place, and if that apartment was in, say, Melrose, the rent would be at most 2/3rds of what it is now.
